Well, we have come to the end of another Step Up! I think that perhaps 4 weeks was too short for everyone to get into it, so next year we will go for 6 weeks, a happy medium!
I had a lot of difficulty this year getting the weekly scores turned in so I think it wasn't quite as fun of a competition as last year where you could see where you stood weekly. We'll try to get them more often next year. We will continue the search for a good pedometer again as that was a big problem this year.

THE FINAL STANDINGS

1. Team McDonald- 66
2. Team Burton- 59
3. Fit Stop/ Team Pitts- 52
4. Wentworth #2- 39
5. Heber Valley Medical Center- 38
6. The Wentworth- 34
7. Berg-Taylor-Haderlie- 30
8. Wastach County Rock Stars- 29

Congratulations to Team McDonald who will be taking a rafting trip down the Provo River this summer!

Thanks to all who participated, Great Job! I hope you had some fun!

I am still waiting for several teams to get their totals in to me
In the meantime....

Some Stepping Humor

The Importance of Walking
Walking can add minutes to your life.
This enables you at 85 years old to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $7000 per month.
My grandpa started walking five miles a day when he was 60.. Now he's 97 years old and we don't know where he is.
I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.
The only reason I would take up walking is so that I could hear heavy breathing again.
I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing..
I joined a health club last year, spent about 400 bucks. Haven't lost a pound. Apparently you have to go there.
Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise', I wash my mouth out with chocolate.
I do have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them.
The advantage of exercising every day is so when you die, they'll say, 'Well, she looks good doesn't she.'
If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small country.
I know I got a lot of exercise the last few years,...... just getting over the hill.
